Intruder Alarms

If As-Tec has a primary activity it has to be the installing of high-quality, reliable intruder alarm systems fitted to BS 4737 for any size domestic, commercial and industrial premises. These range from bells only to monitored systems.

Our control panels are managed by microprocessor-based electronics that allow great flexibility of system programming, combined with simplicity of use for the end user.

 
Our systems are also designed to ensure the rejection of the vast majority of false alarms by employing high-reliability detection devices. Positive detection is assured by the use of the right sensors: passive infra-red, microwave or a combination of both technologies within the same detector, depending on the application.

We do not rely on the product of one manufacturer as we tailor each system to meet the individual's requirements, and this often means being able to install a vast range of products.

We are now using the latest technology which enables us to upload and download information or programming changes to individual alarm systems from our office computers, further enabling us to provide a fast, efficient service.
